Giclées are created through a printing method in which an image is
first scanned and then digitally enhanced to precisely match the
original art.
This computerized image is then sent to a
high-resolution inkjet printer, which reproduces the image by spraying
millions of microscopic droplets of ink onto various substrates to
create a print which is extremely faithful to the original.
The media used is a high quality photographic paper or archival acid-free 100% cotton paper. The superior quality of
these giclée prints is comparable to the original art but is
substantially more affordable. Our PAPER GICLEE COLLECTION
comprises over 4000 images and is growing every day as new artwork is
added. There are no minimums. One giclée can be ordered at a time. For more information, please email us at giclees@eurographics.ca
